Since coming on to steemit.com, I've been reading a lot of the articles that people put up and one thing I have noticed is the high level of writing quality.
It seems that, when people have an incentive to write well, they do.
Unlike twitter, where any chump with a bad hairdo and fake tan can mash out an unintelligible mess on their phone, steemit.com provides a platform for quality contributors to make their voices heard.
I sincerely hope it continues and the community grows. Maybe one day, it'll reach critical mass and become an integral media platform.

I still think twitter is a great site that doesn't need changing even by a bit... (most people can't write a quality post with only 140 characters, so of course it shouldn't have this money incentive)
But the money incentive means people who say stupid shit will be less likely to be heard.
maybe.. oh.. but definitely!! thanks you made me look at it from another angle
