Types of water in planet earth and quantities as of 2018 with 7.3 billion people throughout humanity and increasing, the drinkable fresh water supply must be made available to all via distillation systems (to purify water), plumbing systems (to channel water to homes), sanitation systems (such as toilets), irrigation systems (to water plants & trees for food), and water storage systems (for distribution).

However, global warming caused by industrial pollution (that heats up the atmosphere and increases the global temperatures) has decreased the water supply throughout the years; by drying up fresh water lakes and rivers, by melting the ice reserves (among glaciers and the polar ice caps) and causing drought (when geological weather events become imbalanced at certain regions with the lack of rainfall).

Therefore, reforming the causes of global warming from industrial pollution such as eradicating the greenhouse gases produced from engineering systems among power plants, transportation, residential, agriculture, and industrial plants (and other sources) could save humanity (and all life) from the increasing world poverty, the depletion of fresh water supply, lowered agricultural production and would keep the atmosphere geologically balanced for a more favorable weather system (of usual rains and normal beneficial weather) throughout planet earth.
