Start to Moving On

Good day everyone. It’s been three weeks since Hurricane Odette. Many houses were damaged by falling trees.

There was not enough water supply for drinking, not enough gasoline supply, there was a shortage of grocery stores because trucks could not pass on the road due to broken trees. Bakeries do not supply enough bread. Communication is difficult because there is no signal and no electricity. All transactions that use signals such as taking money through atm machines and pawnshops still need to go to the city. The devastation of Hurricane Odette was tearful, truly discouraging.

But now there is electricity on the highway, there is enough supply of gasoline and water and there is a lot of bread in the bakeries. There is also a lot of supply in the grocery store. And in the markets there are frozen foods, fish, meat because there is already electricity. We were charging with our relatives who had a house on the highway.

And there are also people with good hearts who gave rice, noodles, sardines, buckets, clothes and pork.

The plants that are damaged now are pretty okay, vegetables, fruit trees, shelter trees that are bald now have a new leaves.

It is one of proving that there is hope while living. There have been changes since we were devastated by Hurricane Odette. All victims of the Storm we will rise slowly. This is not our worst Christmas. It is a great blessing to have the family complete with dinner on christmas and new year. Even though our house was damaged and my brother's house flew away it's okay atleast we were all safe during the disaster.

Belated Merry Christmas and happy New Year everyone.
