U2--The Joshua Tree Tour 2017 Washington D.C. June 20, 2017

in #u28 years ago (edited)

I am a big U2 fan. I've been a fan since high school when Rattle and Hum came out.

So when they announced they would be traveling to Washington D.C. I spent an absurd amount of money to go see them.

And of course I bought a T-Shirt

I've seen them several times before, but I missed the last tour because the closest it came was New York which is like a 6-7 hour drive.

But what I did at the concert was try my hand at Facebook Live video to see what kind of engagement I would get on my page. But I quickly noticed I got much better engagement when I switched my live broadcast to my personal page.

So the videos below are from the concert. I didn't record the whole concert, as it got tiring holding the phone up.

But what was amazing was the 8K screens they had. I was some distance from the stage, but the video was as clear as a cell phone being held near my face. Just amazing tech.

Forgive my off-key singing from behind the camera.
