Unfortunately, detecting sarcasm these days is not so intuitive. The sad fact is that many users have the exact sentiments that @jaki01 expressed. Without the context of knowing @jaki01 and their views on the subject, one has no choice but to take it at face value. Nice to meet both of you, BTW.

Okay, so my sarcasm detector was broken :( I'm seeing so much stuff fly up my screen that I can't always look so closely. I know @kabir88 is doing some good work on Steemit and has suffered retaliation.
I understand. I have run into the same problem of people misinterpreting my sarcasm in the past. It's annoying...mostly because it shouldn't be a thing...kinda like flat Earth, but it is.
