New York City: Uber has launched helicopter service for a short distance fare in the United States.

According to the International News Agency, online taxi service Uber has announced helicopter service for short-haul fares for customers at Kennedy International Airport in the US city of New York. The service is launched in a busy area where traffic jams last a few minutes to an hour.

The Uber administration claims it will receive $ 200 to $ 225 for an 8-minute flight, which includes consumer on-ground travel costs. The flight will allow users to bring a small suit case while users will also be shown a video containing pre-travel precautions.
The helicopter flight rights are owned by HeliFlight, a licensed company that will work with Uber, however the Uber helicopter fares are similar to the rentals of JFK, a leading US company.
