From my experience with one of the courses the Uber-eats app in particular you pick up coding skills quickly. The course is arranged like a recipe, if you follow it step by step you get the result you are looking for. Of-course there is help if you get stuck anywhere during the building process. What I like about this is that once you have completed the product you can tweak it according to your needs by adding some new features and so on.
I think learning to code by building something is a great idea and there seems to be few courses on the internet that have this style of teaching. Not only that you can use your own app for entrepreneurial pursuits. I think that's a great idea.
