There are three main categories of bitcoin mining hardware, each more expensive and more powerful than the last.
The clearest way to show what the rule of law means to us in everyday life is to recall what has happened when there is no rule of law.

Same here. Got my first bitcoins to buy acid off the Silk Road. At that time they cost 12$ each. Found it interesting and decided to get a 1000$ worth beyond what I was going to spend. Been hodling them since - well most of them - sold a bit along the way when it looked like bitcoin might crash and burn. So I have cashed in over the years about 50k USD and still have enough BTC that I am just about a $ millionaire.
Of course it is a pity I did not buy more and panick sold some but still all in all I am not complaining. If the whole thing crashes to 0 tomorrow I still got my money back 50x and if not I am set for life.
