Aiming at a future where Basic Income (or the Freedom Dividend) is the tool with which local economies will thrive: “My vision for the future is of an artisanal economy that many people participate in, that is borne by human interests that are not trying to build the next *Chipotle *or Google. You create a bakery that everyone loves in your town and then you employ 10 people and everyone is happier because there is a very good bakery. Then you multiply that by a bunch of businesses. That’s the future to me. It’s impossible for more and more people to compete against the mega-corps, but when everyone has a Universal Basic Income, then we can all frequent business we enjoy. That’s the ideal vision and that’s what Universal Basic Income allows for.”

I love the realization that "UBI is not Socialism" that is understood by surprisingly many successful business people such as Elon Musk, it is the realization that income tax is poison to a free market and the people, entrepreneurs and employees alike. A UBI could reduce the costs for social services in the billions, it would surely reduce the cost of stress and burnout related illnesses and improve social fabrics by simply not punishing people doing basic work such as being a mother or cleaning the dishes but giving them a choice and such change businesses towards more local and sustainable business models and products. It probably can't and shouldn't be enforced, but right now it the time to at least consider it as an option. Because we do need more plant farts.
Elon Musk about UBI:
"I think we'll end up doing universal basic income," Musk at the World Government Summit in Dubai, ... "It's going to be necessary."

"People will have time to do other things and more complex things, more interesting things,.... [and they will] certainly have more leisure time." (Musk)
8 entrepreneurs (amongst many more) who speak in favour of UBI:

The Rich won't even have to fear UBI, it even plays into their pockets to some degrees, but to understand this one has really get into what other's have studied or years:
Prof. Götz W. Werner (Founder und Supervisor, dm drugstore group, Germany and professor at the Institute of Entrepreneurship at the university of Karlsurhe/Germany)
„A basic income provides the opportunity to everyone, to enrich the society with his very own talents. Thus, one has the liberty to become an „entrepreneur of his own life““.
