Jorge Masvidal 4.2 vs Gilbert Burns 1.251
The odds for this fight are pretty extreme with Masvidal being a heavy underdog. I can understand why though. Burns has better grappling credentials, currently one of the best JJ practitioners in the UFC, and very good stand up... although I still think Masvidal has slightly better stand up... just slightly though. If it was 5 rounds, I would say Burns for sure. 3 rounds makes it harder to cap. The odds are pure garbage but I'm going to pick Burns any ways just for fun.

Alex Pereira 2.16 vs Israel Adesanya 1.763
Alex Pereira has been a thorn in Israel's side for a while now. Pereira has gotten the better of Adesanya three straight times now. 2 times in kickboxing. First time via close decision win. In their second meeting Pereira got a highlight reel knockout of Adesanya in kickboxing that was played countless times in the lead up to their last fight in the UFC. Ahhh, the last fight. That one must have hurt bad for Israel Adesanya. He was the middleweight champ. There was talk of him being a middleweight goat like Anderson Silva. In that fight he was leading on the score cards and then the last and final round happened. Pereira got him again. Fifth round. TKO come from behind win for Pereira. Does Pereira just have Adesanya's number... maybe. This is probably the last chance for a while for Adesanya to get redemption against Pereira. Lose again and he's going to have to work his way up again with a couple of fights against other middleweights, and some of those middleweights are tough as f***.
I'm thinking this is going to be a close fight. Pereira has better knockout power but Adesanya is better at taking rounds. Thinking 5 round decision here. I'm going to say Adesanya finally gets a win against Pereira. Probably via decision.
