I'm a 38-year-old army veteran who just recently found out that I have PTSD. All of a sudden out of nowhere I start feeling pains in my chest and left arm. I've been to a bunch of different doctors I've had my heart checked over and over again and apparently panic attacks caused by PTSD or just plain old anxiety can mimic a heart attack. This is very strange for me because I've never had any of these issues and I've been out of the military for over 13 years now. So now I am on a journey to find out what exactly has triggered this. I've been told to write journals and keep an accurate accounting on when and where I have a panic attack. My grandfather used to suffer from the same thing but he was in the heavy combat like World War II combat. Now here's where I'm probably gonna lose some credibility and maybe some followers. What if it's not from the PTSD or what if the PTSD is not from my military experiences. A little over a year and a half ago I was driving my mother from New York to Florida and I believe it was South Carolina I have it written down somewhere but I we were pulled over on the side of the road and my mother was sleeping and I went to the trunk because I wanted to get a snack I was tired and I needed to wake up. All of a sudden I see a small light moving in the sky it got bigger and bigger until I would say it was about 300 yards from my position. It got so close that I could see its shape. It was not like two plates stacked. It was more like a water drop so round and fatter on one end and then smaller and sharper at what looked like the back end. I was so happy to see this and I will explain why in a minute. So I'm staring at the spacecraft for what seemed like two minutes and then I kind of just snap out of what seemed like a daydream and it was gone. I got back in the car and looked at the clock and didn't notice if I lost any time or not. It didn't seem to me like a whole bunch of time went by so I couldn't really judge by that. So I woke up my mother and I told her what I seen and then she reminded me that my family have been seeing these for a long time now. My very same grandfather that also had panic attacks was in the newspapers for seeing a UFO on his honeymoon with my grandmother and remembering this I was amazed when I got back to New York I dug up the old article and there it was his whole explanation of what happened the day he and my grandmother seen a UFO over a lake while they were in a rowboat on their honeymoon. He said it was so close he could have hit it with an ore. Is it possible that more has happened then we realize or am I just reading into this too much. As I figure more out I will be sure to keep you all posted and keep you abreast of any new information that I come across.I am going to dig out that old article and take a photo of it so then add to this tomorrow thank you all for reading have a great night. Ps. I write this at 2:47 am because I'm so afraid of going to bed that I end up staying up until I just collapse. I forgot to mention this butt most of my panic attacks seam to happen right when I lay down to sleep. Anyone have any clue why this happens at this time? I also jump out of bed as if I'm being chased and I'm out of breath with absolutely no memory of what the hell I was dreaming! Well thanks again and I will keep you informed. Goodnight.
As a Vietnam vet I can understand the stuff going through your mind. It will get better Brother. I also was told to write my nightmares down by keeping a pen and a pad next to my bed. It did help some. Keep your chin up mate.
Thank you. All the best to you and yours.
Does anyone know how to add photos? I'm new to the site and can't for the life of me figure it out. Thanks.
