The Tuatha De Danann, The Mythical Races and the Ancient Aliens Theory

In Irish folklore, it is believed that Ireland was first inhabited by a race of beings known as the Tuatha De Dannan. According to legends, the Tuatha De Dannan came from the north, fleeing the destruction of their cities during massive cataclysms. They found Ireland to be one of the few lands that had survived the destruction, and thus, they made it their new home. These beings were said to be skilled in magic, and they were often described as god-like in their abilities.

Some researchers have hypothesized that the Tuatha De Dannan were the Atlanteans. The Atlanteans were a highly technologically advanced society that passed on their knowledge to the Druids of Ireland. The Druids were the keepers of knowledge, and they passed it down through the generations. This knowledge included information on the use of herbs, the healing arts, and the construction of megalithic structures.

Throughout history, there is a common theme where advanced technology is often mistaken for magic. As Arthur C. Clarke once said, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." This is true for the Tuatha De Dannan as well. Their technology and abilities were so advanced that they were often seen as being supernatural.

There is a common theme throughout history, with over 30,000 ancient texts describing highly advanced civilizations acquiring their knowledge from 'The Gods.' This suggests that there may have been beings from other planets who shared their knowledge with our ancestors.

Some researchers, such as Zachariah Sitchin and Erich Von Daniken, have argued that it is likely that these beings were technologically advanced alien races. Sitchin suggests that the Sumerians were visited by beings from the planet Nibiru, who gave them their knowledge of astronomy, mathematics, and technology. Von Daniken argues that many ancient myths, such as the story of the Tuatha De Dannan, are evidence of visits from advanced beings.

There are also examples of different myths throughout the world that suggest the existence of advanced beings. In Hindu mythology, there is a story of the Vimanas, flying machines that were used by the gods. In the Bible, there are references to flying chariots and fiery wheels that were used by the prophets. These stories suggest that our ancestors may have had contact with advanced beings.

The creation story of Ancient Sumeria, known as the Enuma Elish, tells of gods who were most likely advanced alien beings creating the first race of humans. The story describes how the gods created humans to be their servants, and how they were given knowledge and technology by the gods. This is similar to the story of the Tuatha De Dannan, who were said to have passed on their knowledge to the Druids of Ireland.

In conclusion, the story of the Tuatha De Dannan is a fascinating legend that has intrigued researchers for years. The idea that these beings were technologically advanced is not so far-fetched, given the evidence we have from other ancient texts and myths. While it may be impossible to prove definitively that the Tuatha De Dannan were indeed advanced beings from another planet, the evidence strongly suggests that this is a possibility. It is a reminder that our ancestors may have had contact with beings from other worlds, and that the knowledge and technology they shared with us has had a profound impact on our world today.

There are many parallels indeed @krishool.

I read Zachariah Sitchin's Earth Chronical series years ago and found the information to be quite compelling.

Erich Von Daniken's Chariots Of The Gods capitalizes on much of Sitchin's work through the book and television series. I never did read Chariots Of The God's but from what I've heard the series outlines it well enough, and I did watch most of Ancient Aliens.

In recent years I've heard some controversy over the associated theories, and I certainly question the controversy with some critical thinking while maintaining an open mind.

It will be interesting what we discover in the coming years regarding the mysteries the ancient civilizations left behind.

Ever heard of Cymatics?

Such a concept is both awe-inspiring and humbling, for it forces us to consider the possibility that we are not alone in the universe, that there may be other forms of life out there, and that our own history may be intertwined with theirs.

But as you say, there is controversy over these theories, and it is right that we approach them with a critical mind, for only through questioning and analysis can we hope to arrive at the truth. And yet, we must also maintain an open mind, for it is often in the spaces between what we know and what we do not know that the most exciting discoveries are made.

Thank you for the thought provoking article and for your feedback to my comment.Couldn't agree more @krishool, well put. 👍
