French world cup winner Ngolo Kante has turned out to be a fan's favourite after a blistering 3 years in the football world. The French dynamic midfielder moved to Chelsea 3 years ago after a 33 million pound move from Leicester City. He then moved on to win the Premier League trophy with Chelsea in his first season and went on to win the prestigious Professional Football Association player of the year award.
Ngolo made his senior debut at Boulogne before spending two years in the second tier of French football at Caen. He then joined premier league champions Leicester at a fee of 5.6 million pounds becoming an integral member of the title winning squad. He made the most interceptions and tackles in that season leading Leicester to their first ever Premier League win.
After making his senior international debut for France in 2016, he went on to lift the world cup a few months back in Russia. The French contingent composed a song for him alongside 80,000 fans at the Stade de France.
The lyrics go as:-
"Ngolo Kante, pala lalala, he's short, he's nice, he stopped Leo Messi, but we all know he's a cheater at cards, Ngolo Kante."
