The fifth morning of February 24, 2022 will be remembered by the world for a long time and will go down in history. Ukrainians woke up from a series of explosions. Russia has launched an aggression against an independent country, Ukraine. Feelings of confusion and fear gripped the whole country. Explosions, shots became the norm every day. But at the same time, there was growing anger and an understanding that we had to persevere and win.
Why did Russia attack?
Inferiority complex, imperial ambitions, envy, lack of own historical values. Each of these factors complemented each other and grew bitter and cruel in Russia. For decades, the world has been able to observe President Putin's bloody remarks about the world and Ukraine, in which reality has been distorted and absurd.
For Putin, the personal tragedy is the collapse of the Soviet Union. An evil empire that lost to the collective West in the Cold War in the arms, technology, economics, and philosophy of life. An empire that, as the Russians have argued and persuaded, had its power and strength thanks to Russia. But the truth is that in fact Ukraine was the fundamental country that attracted industry, science, agriculture and so on. And most importantly, Ukraine had and has historical roots in the form of Kievan Rus - a country that originates in the city of Kyiv (modern capital of Ukraine). The roots that Russia has been trying to steal and appropriate for centuries.
In 1991, the Soviet Union split into many separate states, including Ukraine. Russia has declared itself the successor to the Soviet Union and has focused its efforts on rebuilding the empire, and Ukraine has set out to restore its democratic, European values and freedoms (freedom of life, thought, choice). The Soviet Union made no secret of its intention to dominate the entire European continent. Inheriting imperial ambitions from the Soviet Union, thanks to vast reserves of resources, Russia began to invest in the army and strengthen the autocracy in the country. Freedom of speech was destroyed, replaced by propaganda and lies. The economy was mainly built on the sale of resources, without the development of alternative industries. Through repression, propaganda, and corruption, Putin and his entourage gained full power in the country and began to implement imperial ambitions.
For decades, surplus profits from the sale of energy resources have been stolen, making the population poorer and more dependent on the greed and permissiveness of the elite. And instead of resisting, fighting for their future, the people of Russia were increasingly influenced by propaganda, which put all the blame on poverty, lack of success in science, industry, sports, on anyone but the leadership of Russia. However, according to the propaganda, the army was one of the most powerful in the world (well, the whole world has seen it in Ukraine) and this is the price of the historical "greatness" of Russia, which everyone seems to envy. An American political scientist of Polish descent said, "Without Ukraine, Russia ceases to be an empire." If we add to this the fact that Ukraine is the second (after Russia) country in Europe, has access to the Azov and Black Seas, fertile lands, industrial, intellectual potential to realize its ambitions, Russia has attacked Ukraine. According to the Putin regime, once successful, Russia will take a step towards the goal of domination on the European continent, distract its population from domestic problems.
**Ukraine is not Russia **
After gaining independence, Ukraine inherited viruses from the Soviet Union called corruption, inefficient governance, backward industry and science. But Ukrainians are genetically Europeans. That is why during the 22 years of independence in Ukraine there were two revolutions in which the population rebelled against corruption, injustice, incompetence of the ruling elites and won. This angered the Kremlin leaders, who tried their best to create a pro-Russian leadership, and the population was jealous that in Russia itself the people were unable to organize to defend their rights and freedoms. Ukrainians began to learn to compete, to develop abandoned industries, to raise small and medium-sized businesses, to fight corruption, and to confidently return to the European family from which Ukraine had been torn away by Russia for centuries. And here… At 5 am on February 24, 2022, Ukrainians woke up to a series of explosions. Russia has launched an aggression against an independent country, Ukraine. The war for historical justice began. Ukraine will definitely win! As President V. Zelensky said: "Good will defeat evil." Glory to Ukraine!
Україна не Росія. Війна за справедливість
П’ята ранку 24 лютого 2022 року запам’ятається світу надовго та увійде до історії. Українці прокинулась від серії вибухів. Росія розпочала агресію на незалежну країну - Україна.
Відчуття розгубленості, страху охопило всю країну. Вибухи, постріли з кожним днем становилися нормою. Та разом з тим зростала злість та розуміння того, що ми маємо вистояти і перемогти.
Чому Росія напала?
Комплекс неповноцінності, імперські амбіції, заздрість, відсутність власних історичних цінностей. Кожен з цих факторів доповнював один одного і ростив озлобленість та жорстокість в Росії. Впродовж десятиліть світ мав змогу спостерігати за висловлюваннями кривавого президента Путіна відносно світу та України у яких реальність була спотворена та абсурдна.
Для Путіна особиста трагедія являється розпад Радянського союзу. Імперія зла, яка у ході холодної війни програла колективному Заходу у гонці озброєння, технологій, економіці та філософії життя. Імперія, котра, як переконували та переконують росіяни, мала свою міць та силу завдяки Росії. Але правда в тому, що насправді саме Україна була фундаментальною країною, яка тягнула на собі промисловість, науку, сільське господарство тощо. А головне Україна мала і має історичне коріння у вигляді Київської Русі – країна, яка бере початок у місті Київ (сучасної столиці України). Коріння, яке століттями Росія намагалася вкрасти та привласнити.
У 1991 році Радянський союз розпаявся на багато окремих держав, серед яких Україна. Росія об’явила себе спадкоємцем Радянського союзу та зосередила зусилля на відновленні імперії, Україна взяла курс на відновлення своїх демократичних, європейських цінностей та свобод (свободи життя, мислення, вибору).
Радянський союз не приховував що мав на меті панувати на всьому Європейському континенті. Успадкувавши з Радянського союзу імперські амбіції, завдяки величезним запасам ресурсів, Росія почала вкладати кошти у армію та зміцнювати автократію у країні. Свобода слова була знищена, на зміну їй прийшла пропаганда та брехня. Економіка в основному вибудовувалась на продажі ресурсів, без розвитку альтернативних галузей. Через репресії, пропаганду та корупцію, Путін зі своїм оточенням отримав повну владу у країні і почав втілювати у життя імперські амбіції.
Впродовж десятиліть надприбутки від продажу енергоресурсів, розкрадалися, роблячи населення все біднішими та залежними від жадібності та вседозволеності верхівки. І заміть того, щоб чинити супротив, боротися за своє майбутнє, жителі Росії все більше піддавались впливу пропаганди, яка всю провину на злидні, відсутності успіхів у науці, промисловості, спорті, покладала на кого завгодно, тільки не на керівництво Росії. Проте згідно пропаганди армія являлась однією з найпотужніших у світі (ну-ну, в Україні увесь світ побачив) і це все ціна історичної «величі» Росії якій всі начебто заздрять.
Американський політолог польського походження казав: «Без України Росія перестає бути імперією». Якщо додати до цього те, що за територією Україна являється другою (після Росії) у Європі країною, має вихід до Азовського та Чорного морів, плодючі землі, промисловий, інтелектуальний потенціал, щоб реалізувати свої амбіції, Росія напала на Україну. По задумці Путінського режиму, у разу успіху, Росія здійснить крок до цілі панування на Європейському континенті, відволіче увагу свого населення від внутрішніх проблем.
Україна не Росія
Після отримання незалежності, Україна у спадок від Радянського союзу отримала віруси під назвами корупція, неефективне управління, відсталу промисловість та науку. Але українці за генетикою це європейці. Саме тому за 22 роки незалежності в Україні було дві революції, на яких населення повставало проти корупції, несправедливості, не компетенції правлячих еліт і перемагало. Це визивало лють у кремлівських верхівках, які всіма силами намагалися створити проросійське керівництво, а у населення заздрість в тому, що у самій Росії народ не здатний організуватися, щоб відстояти свої права і свободи.
Українці почали вчитися конкурувати, розвивати занедбані галузі, підіймати малий та середній бізнес, боротися з корупцією та впевнено повертатись у європейську родину з якої Україна була відірвана Росією на століття. І ось…
П’ята ранку 24 лютого 2022 року українці прокинулась від серії вибухів. Росія розпочала агресію на незалежну країну – Україна. Почалася війна за історичну справедливість.
Україна обов’язково переможе! Як сказав президент В. Зеленський: «Добро переможе зло». Слава Україні!
