On Eid al-Adha 10 Dzulhijjah 1439 Hijriyah in 2018, Telkomsel provided 740 sacrificial animals. Consists of 118 cows and 622 goats.
The sacrificial animals will be delivered to more than 42,000 beneficiaries at hundreds of points in various parts of Indonesia.
Telkomsel Network Director Bob Apriawan said, Telkomsel handed over sacrificial animal aid to be distributed to the community, especially around Telkomsel's operating areas.
In realizing the commitment as a company that cares about the community and the surrounding environment, we strive to provide more benefits among them by giving these sacrificial animals to people who are entitled and in need.
Bob added, the assistance provided was proof that Telkomsel always applied good corporate citizenship in every business operation.
"This activity is a tangible proof of Telkomsel's commitment and concern for the Indonesian people in need, and as an expression of our gratitude for the performance that has been achieved to date. In this year's Eid al-Adha, more than 42,000 sacrificial animal packages were distributed by Telkomsel to groups of people in need and the right to receive in various regions.
Overall, the number of Telkomsel animal sacrifice packages distributed for this year increased compared to last year, in line with the wider scope of the operational area and Telkomsel's commitment to realize concern for the Indonesian people.
