This is my first entry of #ulog, I'm quite confused on what is this about and why it is flood in my feed. Later on I searched some details and found out that it is about sharing Yourself.
Any steemit posts that records your daily activities; celebrating "YOU" and life are "Ulogs" and Ulogs don't have to be perfect! They simple need to be real and utmostly "YOU".
So I think thoroughly on whats gonna be a good topic for my first #ulog so after seeing some post I came to an idea of talking about my experiences here in this social platform before I can tackle about my daily life as my #ulogs. I thought sharing my beginnings here in steemit is a good topic and to let you know as well how grateful I am that I was able to discover this beautiful platform and how I was able to meet good friends here.
It was February 2018 when my classmate introduced to me this platform. At first I was very confused on how it works, then later I give a try on signing up never had thought I will be accepted in just 3 days so then I started posting a picture. My friend told me to make an introductory post to atleast let other steemians know about me. Thanks to my friend's supports my introductory post reached enough people and welcomed me warmly. It was a great feeling to be able to build friendship.
My Experiences
My post before was not earning so much and I got jealous to those people who are really earning alot, I got upset but then my friends cheered me up, they told me that I was just beginning so I must have patience and more experiences. So then I patiently waited and as days came I noticed that my earnings are increasing and so of now I'm giving a best shots in my blog to atleast earn that could help me support my needs especially in school fees.
I also remembered when I first won a contest here in this platform. I would say I was really happy on that day, I never had thought I won. It was really surprising 'cause there are many steemians who joined in the constest too but lucky I picked as the winner.
Because of steemit I was encourage to atleast discover new things and so I try arts, I know I was not born with it but atleast I want to try, a friend told me that arts can be learned so I give a try and post. My first drawing was really not good however I am grateful to those steemians who supported me and cheered me up, at that time I was overwhelmed so today I'm still practing on drawing not that so exceptional but I'm contented 'cause I know I'm slowly developing.
I remembered my first cash-out, I intendly to cash-out on my graduation day as my graduation gift to myself. I would say my earnings in my blogs really helped me to celebrate my graduation day. As well because of it I was able to bought a calligraphy brush pen which I longed to have.
I have few classmates here in steemit, it was great when you talked about steemit in real world, we shared techniques and advices on how to be better in this platform. We also supported each other's post. It was a great time and it is more greater when we introduce to other classmates who seems to be interested in steemit. So far I could say steemians are expanding in our school.
My Learnings
In my 3 months in Steemit, my experiecs taught me different things that is really applicable in real life. But let me give you 3 best lesson I gained here in steemit.
Every success starts from scratch
Everyone who succeeded starts from scratch its just a matter of perseverance on how they will achieve their goal as well experiences develop ones capability as time passes by. Just like here in steemit I believe that most of users first blog was earning nothing and later on after keep on posting great blogs they were discovered and appreciated by many. This inspires me to keep going until I'll become one of the successful steemit users who inspires many. And it will be possible if patience and efforts are always present.Explore new things
They say dont be scared to walk out in your comfort zone, discovering new things is great to enhance yourself and I really believe it. Here in steemit it is nice if you have a field that is your forte for your blogs however trying other things gives your variation on your blogs which makes helps you to reach other steemians with no boundary as well helps you develops new talent.Give your best shots
For you to succeed you have to give your full effort on everything you do. In steemit for you to have an exeptional blog you must work hard, you must think of it thoroughly and make it creativ and unique. In this way other steemians will appreciate your efforts and remembers you as user who create exceptional blogs.
This 3 lessons I learned from my experiences here in steemit. Thanks to my friends and other steemians I was able to discover it.
Experiences are one of the most beautiful gift life can give, it molds you to a become better one. It taught you lessons that will never be forgotten. And as for my first #ulog I hope you had fun reading it, and I hope I was able to inspire you atleast. Expect more to come for my #ulogs and let me end this post with a quote:
"The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience."
Thank you so much and Godbless.
