I am sitting on a plastic chair, along with two other people, beside a well, typing this post because this "well spot" seems to be the only spot with good 3G cellular network.
Exactly 22 days ago, I received a thrilling call, a gig I had been expecting finally came through. So I packed up my bags and the next day I was enroute ile-ife, Osun state, to go sew 315 drawstring bags for the newly admitted students of the faculty of Agriculture, Obafemi Awolowo University. These bags were to be part of their "Freshers package".
Immediately I arrived at where I was going to be living for the coming weeks, the first thing I noticed was that there was no Network bars on my phone, hence I could not received calls nor make calls. To solve this, I changed my cellular network settings from 3G to 2G and this was a bit better as I could now receive and make calls but could not surf the internet (or even if I could, it would be at a painfully slow speed).
However I noticed that around midnight and in the early mornings there would be 3G cellular network in my room, so I utilized this period a few times to make a post and a few comments here on steemit, but when I got into the thick of work, I couldn't keep up as I would usually be fagged out after the day's work and would be unable to wake up to surf the internet.
After a while, I noticed that some persons would always sit at the well, pressing their phones and I guessed that it might be because of good cellular network, so I decided to give this spot a try, and I wasn't wrong but still I was too busy with work to sit down beside a well to surf the internet.
2 days ago, I finished sewing the bags right on schedule (thumbs up to me) and I was so ecstatic when I did as I could now "breathe easy". Here's a picture of one of the bags:
This bag is half finished as it has not been customized yet, I would make sure to post pictures of the bags after customization.
It feels so good to be back here on steemit after a quite a while and I really do miss my friends here.
