So much of the liberation starts in the mind. I can't even imagine how unsure she would be - to not be in control of her situation! I hope she gets to go home soon!
and dignity is SO important in those situations... it's the last bit of ourselves that we feel are our "own" - i so appreciate hospital staff that go the extra distance to preserve that!
for the most part the staff were really great. They were not ignoring her which was nice to see.
