Yeah, prioritising is a pain. I too have tugs and pulls at my time. Felt and writing compete. There is wool festival at the end of october in our town, so wool is winning at the moment (I can actually make money from wool!) but writing is being prioritised after the last weekend of october. I find it really hard to say no (and I hate doing commissions, because - unlike you - I can't make things that look like the thing people want. My creations just are.)
EDIT: you have done well over the number of words for the next steembasicincome share so I have just sent one:
Oh my goodness- thank you so much - you're so generous!
Mmm prioritising really is a nightmare, and there's that tug between what you feel you 'ought' to be doing and what you want to be doing in your heart of hearts! Wow- that sounds exciting- a wool festival! Do you have a link to the event? I'd love to have a look if it's online at all. Gosh - getting enough stock together for something like that must really take some planning and preparation. Now I've broken the seal, I'm loving being able to say no to commissions- it has freed my creative mind up so much- I can't believe the difference.
And as a little boost to your wool work- I got you a present too :) -
Oh wow! Thank you! Yeah, the wool festival is great because its in our town, so our b&b is full AND I get to sell my stuff! I'm making sheep at the moment (big sellers for obvious reasons)
