My seventh Ulog, so a whole week of posts all about ME! Aren't you lucky?
Today was a fabulous day. Although we had a full house in the B&B it was one of those rare days where no one left, and no one arrived. Which meant, after breakfast and a quick clean of people's rooms, we had the day "off". We went up to some friends house for lunch (which lasted until 8pm). And we had a lovely time out in the sun in their garden. Here are some photos!

The afternoon sky:
On the down side, I heard my mother had a fall this morning. She was ok first thing, but when I called this evening the nurse was there and said she was in pain, due to bruising. My mum has the start of dementia, and she is cared for at home for now but we are planning to move her into a nursing home soon, nearer my brother, as she is deteriorating somewhat. She seemed bright enough on the phone, but apparently managed to break a floor tile, so she must have gone down like a ton of bricks.
This morning I managed to write my daily 365daysofwriting challenge (only 500 words) but I enjoyed writing it, and it seemed that others enjoyed it too because it got picked up by Curie, which was lovely.
I haven't had time to write my freewrite this evening (it is almost 11pm and I need to be up at 6am to do early breakfast for guests tomorrow), so I will do that in the morning.
I hope you have all had a lovely weekend.
Love you all.

Thank you, my friend! :)
I like these getting-to-know-you posts of yours :)
Beautiful sky and happy dogs.
Sorry to hear about your mum and hope she recovers best she can.
And, congrats on the curie pick-up!
Thank you! :)
Those dogs looks so so happy and love tour sky pictures.
I hope your mum will get better soon.
Thank you! :)
Hey, I love the view of the walk, that sunset is beautiful. Do you like to write in those moments? And... totally changing the theme, sorry about your mom; I hope she recovers.
Thank you! Sometimes I write when I walk (if it is just me and the dogs, but often I am with my wife too, so it is a bit rude to write then!). But mostly I write in the kitchen or in the living room. Mornings mostly, sometimes afternoons (and freewrites and Ulogs in the evenings).
Haha be careful when you hang out with your wife, don't use so much the time you are sharing together.
You write a lot of great content... Sometimes I feel like if the words just come out of you like an avalanche.
Ha ha! Sometimes they do! Nicely put! :)
