Be sure to include some salt with your water, plain water can make things worse in a heat stroke.
Be sure to take it as easy as you can in the heat of the day.
Now I know why the carnival went into the hills in the summer, it's alot cooler.
It's been really miserable here.
If you look on a map there is a triangle that sticks out into the gulf, I'm just south and a little west of that.
Close to water and humidity too. It can get unbearably hot. Making sure my salt intake is up and taking it easy this week. Someone else will have to work in the gardens.
At least for a couple days, once you get that far into heat stroke the consequences stay with you for awhile.
Im still feeling mine, just light work brings it back, though im still walking the 6 miles to town and back.
Probably. Hard not to do here. I am feeling better and watching that I don't over do it...Thanks.
I about dropped out myself the other day.
The humidity is high here.
Id imagine it is even worse where you are.
It does get very hot and humid here. And I usually take extra water with me when I go out, but this time I didn't and I think that is what happened.
