Well it is Monday again! Time for serious business at work, a funeral and hopefully also some fun stuff!
Let's have a quick recap of the weekend!
The weather
Well we were blessed with some rain on Saturday morning! It was very welcome and for sure needed! Still too little! But at least the temperatures at night are more enjoyable which gives a chance to cool down the house during the nights!
The weather forecast for next week is again a good one for the ones who are having their holidays in Belgium! Some tropical days ahead of us! But the most important thing is that it drops during the nights!
BBQ
What else to do with this weather than to give some BBQs. We had one on Saturday and we had one on Sunday! This is what makes it really summer! We don't do this often enough! But when we do we have a blast!
Saturday
Saturday there was also an awkward moment. We had to clean up the room of my grandmother in the rest home! Life can be though! After her death we had 3 days to clean it up. Somebody else will be glad because there are long waiting lists for such a room. So probably today somebody new is housing in! The funeral will be tomorrow, which will be one with mixed feelings!
Betting wise
We had the first round of the Jupiler Pro League and it was a dream weekend. I do hope that lots of these will follow, but more than likely it was a one time event!
7 bets were placed, 7 bets were won! This meant that I did end the SBC League July league with a more than decent profit. A splendid ROI of 37.98%! The aim is a positive monthly ROI, but this was out of this world! It is good to follow the betting plan and to stay away from some games!
Steem
In the past week, my steem account grew with 9.053 steem. Decent enough but it could have been better. Last week I did feel the 7 day cycle! The week before wasn't my most active week on the Steem blockchain, which is felt the week after!
It could have been better but I do need to save some steem for my @upvoteshares investment!
At the momenf of writing, you do need 493.36 steem to become a minnow. So I am only 26.244 Steem shy! I do guess that I will be capable of becoming a Minnow in the middle of August, which is 2,5 month ahead of plan! In the original plan, I did calculate than my account would grow with 10 SP per week! But in fact this is a little bit more.
Also the reputation is growing again! I do hope to reach 57 this week. Here the goal is still 60 by the end of year!
This week
Besides the funeral, nothing special on the agenda. The kids will go back to the Belgian Coast with my parent to finish were they left off last week!
No sport activities planned, which is not good. Maybe some golf on Tuesday and hopefully some tennis later in the week!
Cheers,
Peter

@steemitbloggers
I am sorry to hear of your grandmother's passing. On behalf of the entire #steemitbloggers family, here are wishes for comfort and strength for your family in the days ahead 💙
Thanks @thekittygirl!
Slowly but surely, don't stress it just keep doing what you do.
I think too much people is to much concerned with chasing instead of bringing quality to steem.
Sorry to hear about your lost in your family.
Greatly appreciate your tip$
Thanks @coachjoachim!
What are you coaching?
I'm into swimming.
I do learn to swim, beginners, and stroke development.
Currently I teach kids from 4years to adults.
I also teaching autistic kids
My youngest son is 6 now and had some swimming lessons last year. We noticed during our holiday that he is capable of swimming under water but for some reason he can’t come up to take some fresh air 🤔
It this normal? Looks like a waste of money!
What I have experienced in my career is that all children are not the same.
First of all you have to understand some principals of swimming lessons:
The learn to swim program should run throughout the year.
Your child should enroll into the program when they are 4 years old for the latest.
If your child goes for lessons, you should take your child to the pool at least once a week and practice what they had learned or the skill that needs to be refined.
If they are not up to your standards, individual lessons should be considered instead of group lessons. I personally do mostly individual lessons.
Careful consideration should be taken into account on were you are sending your child for lessons. Some people are just working for money and don't have a passion for their job. Even if they were top swimmers in their days, doesn't automatically qualify them to be the best teachers.
I have see a 6 year old girl that was doing squad training with 10 year old kids:
When you meet the parents of the kids and see what type discipline and respect is instilled into them, you will understand why they are getting top results.
In other words, I need to see physical what is happening before I can consider any judgement.
You need to record lessons for at least one month for me to give you a full review of what is going on.
If I was there physically, I would be able to assess properly.
:)
Keep aiming high! You can do it. :-)
