ULOG #6: Finding balance in the storm

Another interesting ULog which we used to call a VLog over on YouTube.

I enjoy your videos due to both the content but also because of the presentation. I feel you have a Balance between youthful exuberance and mature rationality. :)

In the world of physics, it you put something on something narrow or pointy, it will Balance if the part of it you put on the thing is the Center of Gravity. It's kind of an average, where you have as much weight on one side as on the other, so it Balances.

I think things Balance out here on Steemit. I think people who post quality content tend to earn more, on average, than those who post low quality stuff. Some days you put in a lot of effort and get a little reward, but if you keep working your account and build followers, you'll find that other posts that took less time might earn more. It doesn't make sense, when looking at each individual post, but if you average it, it kind of Balances out over time, I think.

Plus, there are all sorts of other considerations here on Steemit. People vote for different things at different times depending on their vote power, their mood, the price of Steem, and how busy they are with the rest of their life. Again, if you build a following, then all that averages out over time. The advice people give to keep posting what you like on here, in the best presentation you can, and to interact with others so they know you are here and may check out your work, is the best advice, in my opinion. And that was a run on sentence that went on too long and should have been broken up! If you see my write another run on sentence, shout! :)
