Ulog #2 - Three thoughts for the day

1. Writing, Waiting, Watching

I know you are watching.@vincy loves it when I write. But aside from text messages, about the only thing I write regularly to her these days (like, once every two weeks) is in a book of love quotes which I doodle in about as often as I actually write. Though these ulogs are not written to her, they should still at least take us back to the days she stalked my facebook feed. I'm already being teased for taking a long time to write, which means she must be keen.

2. Re-visiting memories.

While @vincy had bible study today, I had charge of Toby. To keep him entertained, few things work better than going through old photos and videos where he features. It's nice to stop and re-visit memories for a time. He loved watching our lesson that I posted yesterday :D -

3. Crossing Moon River to La La Land.

Googling him, the first item that caught my attention was:

The reason is because this was once Toby's bedtime song - he sings it here:

Shoutout to @philo.phineas who introduced me to work of Jacob Koller.

Then the next song on the playlist was:

Which reminded me how much I liked the music to La La Land. And how awesome the opening shot on the freeway was. It really set the tone for the rest of the film. I've suggested that we watch it again sometime.
I'd love to pick up the soundtrack and learn some of the pieces in the near future. It would be great fun!
