#Ulog 011: I Think I Could Use A Bottle Of Beer To Celebrate

in #ulog7 years ago (edited)
Hello there Steemians!

After a year and few months, I finally got a reply from one of my proposals. I was in awe to see that my inbox in onlinejobs.ph contained a message already.

Frustration has started swallowing me in a number of days, and I felt like I'll turn into bits in no time. My life has been 'proposals after proposals' each day and then got zero response constantly.

Last Wednesday, a client responded to me, and shortlisted me for a hiring test. I felt so damn relieved after thinking of myself as a sore loser. I could now stop belittling myself.

Although, there's no guarantee that I would be hired because I still lack the skills and experience (with regard to work-from-home jobs such as a virtual assistant), but I consider this already a success. Having to get someone's attention through cover letters is already one tough job amidst the strong competition online among freelancers. That's why I am so happy.

Hurrah! I am rejoicing right now.

This lemon-flavored beer has been in the chiller for quite some time now, and I believe this should be right time to drink it. Cheers!

Wish Me Luck

I underwent the hiring test earlier. It was tough. I could not utter about it here, for confidentiality purpose. Just a hint though: it has something to do with e-commerce.

I am not sure if I got the answers correct. It was so new to me. All I did was follow the instruction given and work on it on a specified time.

I don't know when the result would come out, but I hope pretty soon...

...so that I will be able to move on right away, in case I did not pass. Otherwise, I would have to get ready if I will advance to the second round of the application process.

That's how my day went today.
