What happens to a gullible person when they get scammed of their life savings (in Bitcoin)? They move to the great Australian Outback.
So here I am. While the picture is from Pixabay, it is pretty representative. When I get paid next week, my first purchase will be a new digital camera, since my last one went missing and my phone is an android picture-killer.
This week, I bought Maidsafe Coin, Enigma and Iota in an effort to rebuild my sadly denuded coffers.
Never say die. For me, failure is not an option.
Happy Steeming :)

Oh my goodness.... you lost all your Bitcoin ? That is Brutal. This is my greatest fear. But I on,y have about $2,000 in Bitcoin.
Sadly, yes, I did. I got scammed over AU$80,000 by very sophisticated investment brokers who targeted me through crypto groups to which I belonged. My own silly fault? But of course....
Aw, that is brutal. I don’t think I could ever HODL that much in crypto..... I convert to fiat every few months to lock in some gains. Better to only have a few thousand on many exchanges and wallets. Sometimes good old fashioned CD,s, GIC,s, silver and gold buried in a treasure chest. Convert to paintings and other Artwork ... kayaks, bikes, travel, wine, food, etc etc....
Well, it was my 'savings'. I was growing it :) and now, I'm mourning it :) because I've had to go west. I was making a reasonable living from trading in crypto :) when I got persuaded to invest in another vehicle. I invested small, but got conned, basically, but .... can't do anything about it now, except start again
Yes... cryptos are low and going lower so easier to buy low again.
We all lost from January.... mine dropped from about $30 k down to $10 k and dropping more each day.
Yes, I too lost in January. I had turned $80,000 - on paper - into $260,000 - back to $80,000. Then I got scammed $80,000, now nothing - so well into negative territory.

Easy come easy go.... we are all losing fortunes each day.
Not so easy come. The money I used to accumulate these funds was partly earned over three years of working in the Outback, living alone, 15 hours away from family and friends. The other part was funded by a redraw on my house mortgage.
Oh no that is Terrible. Would you say the lesson would be to never put any real money (fiat) into crypto ?
