There was a time when money was a physical and real commodity, made out of gold, silver or other kind of metal, that, like any other merchandise, had a real value of itself.
But, as you mention, today is just a social agreement, an abstraction, that gives to something completly worthless, a value that doesn´t has. As we know, we have never heard that anybody has eaten a coin or any kind of bill as food, much less that have had sex with it for pleasure.
Nevertheless, almost everybody seems to be crazy about getting and having as much money as they can get and save, and even more and more.
I've heard that to get to the real cause of any situation, like this one, we have to ask "why", 3 to 5 times in sequence to any cause we think is the answer . I invite everybody to do so to this matter, and lets see what happens.
