#Ulog 6: Team Meeting and an announcement

in #ulog6 years ago (edited)

Had our department meeting today. Discussed was the changes that will be implemented starting next week on the tenets or parameters needed in scoring our associates in regards to quality of their call.

We also discussed details of our Quarterly Team Building which will be outside Lapu-Lapu which was chosen through a poll.

But the most important part is the one month leave of our Team Leader. She will be having an operation because of thyroid cancer. She would not discuss details about it maybe because she gets emotional.

In this light it made me think that we should be observant of any changes on our body. Even a small lump or sudden change of voice, small rashes or anything that suddenly showed up.

Cliche it may seem but always true, HEALTH IS WEALTH.

"Health is wealth" but what would be more important to be healthy and poor or rich in poor health (but can afford treatment)? I personally can't answer it, yet.
I would say happiness is wealth. You can be in good health but unhappy, you can also be in poor health but have learned to accept it and are happy to be alive and are enjoying life...
food for thoughts...

I rather be healthy and poor and still can do things to uplift and enjoy life. Than be rich but with poor health that most time is spent on treatments instead of enjoying life with family and people I love.

I get your point and agree with it to some extent. But the sad truth about life is that as we age our health deteriorates and we will need more care, medication, therapy, etc... If we can't afford healthcare, we can't be healthy... don't you think?
