Hello Steemians!!!
One more day and it is the weekend once again.
I remember posting the other night about the book that my kid choses for our bedtime stories---> The Runaway Bunny.
Earlier today, Kuya Maque and I went for a trip in a nearby farm. Actually I just want a moment of solitude with nature, relax a bit and I want to eat some homemade burgers, too. I feel guilty to go alone, so I brought this boy with me. And as I expected, he was most excited to come with me.
As we stepped unto the front gate he hurriedly went to the nearest animal in sight, a bunny. He immediately held up his hand to pet the bunny inside the cage. He really has a soft spot for fur animals. I like the fact that he has less fear for them now.
In this area, the rabbits can run wild and free and so is my son. He keep running over the bunnies as if they were playing TAG. Actually these bunnies are so friendly that they would go near to anyone who is in the vicinity. Maybe they are thinking these people carry with them food, because is allowed to feed them right there and then.
Obviously, someone is having a great time with his new friends. While I on the other hand, is smiling from within that I am grateful for this time I have with him. I get to enjoy our little dates, just the two of us, while he is still young. I know they will never stay little for a long time. In time, probably 20 years from now, he will begin to set distance from me. Making his own decisions, taking control of his life. Again, I repeat 20 years from now. hahahaha lols
And he said, "Thanks mom, let's do this again okay?"
