Title: I See Changes Around Me And That Means Hope

Today was a lazy day. I settled my hospital bills, yes on a Sunday because it's not a busy day. I have been going to that same hospital for almost 2 years now for my every other day session for dialysis. It feels like going to school. Dialysis is a treatment for life, damned if you do, dead if you don't. It's like studying or going to school, only that I won't graduate.

I have seen the same Valentine decors put up in February and same Christmas decors put up in December. I already know the Pharmacy Department wins the Decor Contests everytime. I wonder when they change that? I was thinking, if I have more money, I'd probably donate for new decors, for a change.

Recently, the dry walls of the halls are now with huge art pieces. They are not real paintings, they are digitally-made, but even so, it was a sight to see for me. No longer the empty dry walls that looked like a subway. I was so happy. It made me smile when I saw them. I have somehow loved this place, like my second home. In fact, I pay more for this place than I pay for what I spend at home. My treatments are so expensive, I deserve to own stocks in that hospital if they offer it. Hahaha!

I also noticed they had koi fishes near the fountain area. The water is moving fast and the area is too small for them but I was still glad they made that change. That's a new sight to see and somehow these changes are cool in such a sad place. For me, it actually means hope, that things do change. That we aren't stuck in a spot forever.

How about we raise funds to change the hospital decor? We have enough time till the "ber" months, also will be a great thing to give back to the plaxe that means so much to you.

I read your post as i imagined you speak.
With hearing you on the steemgig discord talk show, i jave somehow been accustomed to your voice.

Sending love your way.

Hi @purpletanzanite!

How about we raise funds to change the hospital decor? ... also will be a great thing to give back to the plaxe that means so much to you.

LOVE that idea! Added to the changes that they're already making, that would be such a wonderful perk up for both the staff and patients who use the facilities all the time.

Right? I'm glad you vision the possibility of this too.

So @mermaidvampire let's do this?? Yeah?

Hahaha! I love the thought, I'll think about it. I'm pretty sure if I feel this way the other patients feel it, too. Some of them have been doing it more than I do. I can imagine.

Hi @mermaidvampire,

... for my every other day session for dialysis.

I probably didn't yet know you if you've posted more about your dialysis treatment, @mermaidvampire, but this is the first time I've realized that you have it every other day.

Dialysis is a treatment for life, damned if you do, dead if you don't.

My best friend used to have hers every night until she got a new kidney then another. My prayers will be with you more now that I know how often you have your treatment.

For me, it actually means hope, that things do change. That we aren't stuck in a spot forever.

LOVE that you're reading the signs and discerning their messages for you. Sometimes it's such messages that keep us going when everything feels like its falling apart.

Continued Blessings and heartfelt Thanks for all the love you share with everyone here on Steemit. I appreciate you, MMV. xxx

you are one brave woman ms @mermaidvampire. you inspire us all, your posivity in life radiates and shoooooo all negative vibes.

i believe nothing is permanent except change. let us not lose hope, this is not a lost case. have faith always!

Thank you! Sometimes life does not give us options, there is nothing much here for me but to brave it all.

i think there's no exact how words how to relieve of what you feel now, i have different shoes but yet i think i know what you're stepping. the hospital might different from your house, the aure, the environment but one thing is for sure, it's still the same place that gives you shelter. It's the place where you can find hope like in your house, so fight for it and goodluck. have a lovely life. take care

Thank you, I appreciate those thoughts, @mrnightmare89. Yes, I am finding hope and will always be hopeful.

thank you also that you noticed me, because i think it's been how many days already but it's still fine.hehe

It seems to me you are developing more and more as a writer. This ulog reads as a short story. I'd like to commend your writing skills. You have put together emotional aspects along with symbolic details that account for a beautiful narrative.
Hang in there. We are all rooting for you and for all those who carry the weight of similar crosses.

Aww. Thank you. Yeah, I dream to be a better writer... Thanks, that is more than motivating. Thank you, I appreciate you @hlezama.
