Even though I joined steemit almost one year ago, I only really get started with steemit two months ago. And I really dedicated my time, energy and money with steem.
It has been a wonderful two months and I learned a lot. In terms of experience, it has been a steep learning curve.
I’ve seen fake, multiple, bot accounts engaging with me and I honestly believed that everyone who commented was trying to add value my journey and get reward for thier contribution.
It turned out 90% of the people who I engaged wanted something from me, I’m fine giving back or giving my upvotes for people who contribute to my journey. But I’m not running charity business here and I won’t let people take advantage of my kindness.
People mistaken my kindness as weakness. I’m stronger than ever and I’m keep improving my work and my own lifestyle and try to do good work that make positive impact in people’s life. Most importantly I really enjoyed my first two months of being a dedicated Steemian! I’m just getting started...

sucks man. you put your heart and soul into something and it ends up being taken advantage of.
but rest assured. even if you only have 10% legit followers and 90% are trying to take...those 10% will be all you need.

This is an inspirational and some great motivational teaching that is in your experience. Its a great example for us to emulate and follow.
Its true at some point people can take advantage of others and try to use them and after that run away after getting what they desired. Its also good to be positive at some point, understanding and tolerating some character of people in a bid to influence them so that they can change their mindsets and become hardworking and success minded steemians.
Uhm, you are right like seriously, people often confused an honest support as if someone is running a charity. Imagine your experience over time ever since you have joined this platform. You have actually done your best as I can say I benefited a lot in your first two months of being active, thanks alot for thayt brother. May God increase you always.
It is sad to hear that the followers that you believed were true followers were basically bots and spammers. Of course, I already know this fact, since you have shared it before with us. Nevertheless it is an unpleasant experience to have.
But as you said that this has only added to your wisdom and made the picture a lot clearer for you. The thing is that I obviously also saw it happening on your account with my own eyes. How so many people flocked over when you started with the sh10K announcement but suddenly so many disappeared when the time to make the videos came.
On one hand I am sad that you had to see that, but on the other hand I am also grateful that I got to share that experience with you. It has given me a lot of insight about the darker side of this place and next time if I come across such a thing, hopefully I would be able recognize it.

I am hardly 4 months old, but I am happy although I see a downfall of steem price in recent time but I take this as an opportunity to generate a decent amount of SP and I have a plan to put 500 SP to my account in late september and for that I am working on it and you know I am taking tutions to student and making that part time effort so that I can buy steem power when steem will become 1 usd or close to it. Now also it is cheper but I dont have enough savings, but I will crack through it in September.
One time i am in interview and interviewer asked my what is your strength and weakness i said my strength is i always do my work on time and my weakness is i believe other persons easily and this is not good sometime for me
But I have seen currently spamming less than my startup day's. It's better thing to develop global community. I also agreed don't give any excuses peoples of their everyday mistakes. Thanks your thoughts.@nathanmars, We can take best imagine and learning point to our steemit journey from you. Your strictly progress appreciated, without it cannot control steemians. Why I'm telling that? Lot of steemians try to get rewards using multiple and spam comments.

I also signed up for steemit a year ago, but at that time i don't have any knowledge about steemit, I saved the password and username and left it. and after 6 months when i was searching for any mean of online work to earn some money, I came to know about steemit and there i open my old files and find this account and started working on steemit 6 months ago back in February. I made some mistakes in the start and then learning process starts and I'm learning and learning, I think I have to change many things, I need to learn more and more to be a perfect steemains like you are. yes, you are adding value to my steemit journey and thanks for that <3
