All thanks and adoration are due to God who in his infinite mercy grant us the grace to witness another Eid period.
Eid-ul-Adha offers an opportunity to remember the submission of Prophet Ibrahim by which he taught the world the value of sacrifice in relating with one another.
This period has taught a great lesson of sacrifice as exhibited by prophet ibrahim. A lesson of selfless service, a lesson of sacrifice in the service of others.
We must imbibe this remarkable lesson and make it a duty to sacrifice for others no matter whatever conditions we find ourselves in and to always remember those who are less fortunate than ourselves. Selfishness, greed and corruption have no place in our lives and in our dealings with one another. For compassion must remain part of our daily activities.
We must help one another, the powerful were made powerful in order to help the weak and vice versa.
