It was Sunday at the same time it is "Father’s Day" ! Together with the entire world we also celebrate this one special day for our beloved fathers. Annually in our church we save the date and make the day extra-ordinary and special. As one of the youths in our church I myself always love to help specially in preparing for the said day. Basically together with the other youth members we prepare something for our real life hero’s which our fathers to which they didn’t expect. It has been our honor to do such thing to them knowing and realizing all the sacrifices they’ve done for us and for our family. We all know all the hard works and struggles they’ve been through just for us to have the bright future they wanted for each one of us. At the same time we highly appreciate their efforts specially on letting us grow spiritually together with God as the center of our lives.
From the day that we were born and until the day that we grow old our fathers are part of our lives and they are one of the people who make so much difference in our life. Right from the start our fathers has been the one who helps us mold into what we are right now. They have been a vital part of our lives because basically without them we will not be able to witness the beauty of life. There are really lots of things and reasons why we should be thankful to our fathers and why we should be proud and blessed to have them in our lives. Not only on Father’s Day we should show our appreciation and love to them instead show it to them every day. Make every single day count and never take it for granted. A father’s love to his children is always unconditional.
In my case, I am so thankful and blessed to have my father because ever since I was a child he is always been the one who always encourages me to go to church every Sunday to worship. My father always wants us to know and value and importance of going to church and wants us to grow to have the fear of God. Moreover, to always let God live in our hearts. On the other hand my father is so consistent in showing his love and support for us and our family. He never lets anyone to get left behind. He teaches and disciplined us to become a good person. And most specially helps in molding us to what we’ve become today. I will never take all his sacrifices and efforts for granted and I’ll make sure that it will be all worth it. And I will see to it that one day I will be able to repay him for all the goodness that he’s done for all of us. It’s not like only on Father’s Day that we are proud of them because every single day of our lives we are really proud to have them. And Father’s day is one of the opportunities that we have to celebrate it together with the church, together with our fathers, and most specially our Heavenly Father which makes it even more special.

- Together with our resident minister, she blessed them through the power vested in her by the grace of God for them to have even more strong faith in God and also to let them have the strength in continuing their roles as a father towards their family.
- A photo right after the blessing, they've been gladly and proudly presented to the congregation.
- Photo of the simple yet full of love token that is given to every father as a simple way of showing our appreciation and love for them. At the same time as a remembrance of the memorable and special day for them.

- The youth organization together with other church members prepared a beautiful pictorial place so that our father can take photos as a souvenir and remembrance of the Father's Day celebration.
- Photos of every fathers who was able to join with the celebration. You can see on their faces that are overjoyed and at the same time overwhelmed of all the efforts exerted in order to make the event a success.
- And of course, other church members wouldn't let the chance and opportunity to slip in their hands in order to have a photo together with the background. 1, 2, 3, SMILE!
My Real Life Hero, My Father
- The man, the father, and the real life hero that's been with me all this time that helps in molding me on what I've become today. I really owe him a lot, for his unconditional love and support and for always being there for us no matter what happens. I couldn't be more proud of him and I want the world to know that!
It was indeed a great day and a day that is worth remembering for! All the moments will forever be treasured and cherished!
