How's your day #uloggers? #ulog Sunday. At last, the sun showed up yesterday for the first time. It's been raining here the whole week. My sis in law came and visited us from Sofia. My son requested to eat pancakes right away, we suggested to eat pizza but he only wanted "palanchinka" (pancake) Oh well, can't blame him lols. I had a giant pancake the other day and I enjoyed it as well. Summer is always a party for him.:):)
Ani drove us downtown, we had a walk in the park. It's so refreshing, clean and green everywhere. Mamo and Rimbie did really well, walking for almost an hour is not easy especially for Mamo. She is an amazing lady, always active, never stops working in her garden. In September she'll give a private lesson again (Literature )to her students.
The Pancake
My husband ordered pancakes for us. Rimbie had a "palachinka" with white and brown cholate flavor. Mamo had a sandwich and Ani had something else (bread with cheese). I tried ham and cheese pancake. You can combine any flavors if you want, they have salty and sweet stuff. We drank coffee, chatted and went further.
Downtown
There were shops open, just in case you want to know the price of clothes here, some are cheap and some are expensive. You can buy t-shirts/ blouses for 3 leva and up ( 1.50 euro ) trousers between 20-30 leva (10-15 euro) those are none branded clothes. We didn't buy anything only window shopping:)
Late Lunch
When we came home I smelled the cabbage mmmmmm. I'm ready to eat again lols. Mamo prepared food early in the morning. It was "Zele" a traditional cuisine, cabbage with rice, one of my favorites ( Yeah everything is my favorite lol)I love BG food!!!
Mamo chopped the cabbage, sauteed, seasoned, added rice and put it in the oven. It's so tasty!! I can eat this every day. How do they eat "Zele? They eat it with bread! This is just a normal combination. In the Philippines, we don't eat rice and bread. (toyo at kanin pede pa lols) Amazing culture, isn't it?

Hi sunnylife. When you said pancakes I was thinking of something a little smaller. That one is massive and the biggest one I have ever seen. I prefer sweet pancakes with lemon juice and sugar.

12 inches is a big pancake. I can normally eat about 10 or so once I get started as I don't have them often and is a treat lol.
