Hi Rob! I've been guilty of pushing out people who were harmful for the community before. I suppose in doing so I was only creating more damage?

Can you talk in any more detail about what it is that they were doing and how it was that you pushed them out? It seems like decisions like that are drastic and would necessarily involve tons of thought and deliberation as to whether or not that could potentially be viewed positively or negatively.
And truly only you can answer the question as to why you were doing something. At least you could boil it down into perhaps "What you thought" was going to happen, rather than perhaps alternatively "What you wanted to happen". Because that could be potentially an excuse for a mistake, which I don't think would then warrant a positive spin on the mistake. Mistakes must always be learned from, and you should never make serious enough mistakes that endangers the well being of other humans.
Hmm, does running around drunk screaming "im going to murder people with a chainsaw" and making his girlfriend who also lived there miserable constantly constitute me driving him out? How did I do it? I corrected all his lies about him and his past that he told everybody in the community.
That person sounds pathological if not psychopathic. Seems like he needs help. Certainly, there is no way he could have NOT been harmful for the community. After we establish that fact, it's unclear what action would cause the highest 'net' gain of positivity in the community. Should he receive medical attention, psychological attention, medication, punishment?
What do you think would be best?
He had psychological help, but the aid of psychological help where I'm from is generally focused on locking you up and away and pumping drugs into you until you act like what they consider healthy. He didn't do well there, and when it came down to his friends helping him he wasn't doing to great obviously because every time he had alcohol which was frequently he would lose his cool. Yes, he was a pathological liar with sociopathic tendencies. I think the best medicine for him might be to have his ass kicked when he's acting like that and bring him down a couple pegs to be totally honest. I think that would have been a better medicine than any medication. His mom let him get away with too much, and he became spoiled and acted as though he was the most important god-like person on the earth, and likely still does.
