Not inside the house. The UV from the sun will break them down outside, so we do need to get them covered one day. But the UV in the winter time is very low and that is the only time the sun hits the tires and it is for a very short period of time. I'm not concerned about off gassing at all from them. We have lived in here for 9 years and still doing great! Our plan when we are done the house is to have them all covered up. But only when we have the materials to do the work.
