For Mother’s Day, we partnered with make-up artist @mimles, to illustrate the deep rooted connections breastfeeding creates between mother and child. The model, @nicolekuppanmua has breastfed all five of her children! Breast milk is one of the best ways to protect a baby from disease. It also provides all the nutrients a baby needs in the first six months of life. Despite these benefits, the number of babies missing out on the benefits of breast milk is unacceptably high, especially in high income countries. This month, we’re calling on world leaders to prioritize healthcare for mothers and babies - including providing more support for mothers who breastfeed. Sign our petition today.
