it's not about the money...is it?

there was one main reason as to why i chose to get into crypto-currency, my significant other made me. no, that's not (completely) true. i, like my significant other, believe in the democratization power and/or potential that crypto-currency has, thus eventually leading to a far more equitable world and economy. i did not go into this with the intention of getting rich or to leave my day job (special education teacher). i think, and i can be very wrong here, that many other people went into crypto with similar intentions. we see the damage that our current form of currency (and how we obtain such currency) does to our every day world, and everything that inhabits it, and we wish to be better, to do better.

but...how? how do we unite this community of good-hearted people to begin something beautiful? we are in the early stages of the crypto-currency era and we must make sure that our foundations are as good as they can be. we are all aware of the greed and power that comes with excessive wealth, how do we combat this?

i care more about the well being of our earth (pachamama - tonantzin), all it's inhabitants, the suffering it has undergone and is undergoing; i care more about creating meaningful community bonds, relationships that positively impact others, bridges and not walls; i care far more about you, unknown follower, than that of any currency. however, caring, feeling, and hoping is not enough, we need action that is radical, thoughtful, logical, and loving. i hope that there are many on here that want to build community more than building their crypto-wallets.

but...maybe i am wrong about the potential power for good this has, am i? thoughts?

Yes, it is good that different tokens can quantify and operationalize the value in several dimensions and not only, as it has done so far (FIAT), reduce all value to a single and poor dimension.

may you please expand a little bit more? i am very interested in your analysis, especially your last part "reduce all value to a single and poor dimension." thank you.
