**Joining steemit was the best decision I made in 2017.This is my first entry to @surpassinggoogle #untalented-adjustments contest and i hope it turns out good.

MY LIFE BEFORE I FOUND STEEMIT
Talking of the present without making any reference to the past will make one success story incomplete and uninteresting.

Yeah! I was living an awkward life before i came about steemit. The life i was living then was nothing but a waste! Are we to talk of the time I engaged myself in ponzi scheme or when I was into betting?

I have always been thinking of stuffs I can do online which will keep me busy, doing what I like and surely give me something back in return. Even though I did see, but almost all of those things I found myself doing then wasted my precious time and even take away my money.

I was once a fan of bet9ja. I spent almost everything I have on betting which in turn gives little or no return.

I can even remember a time I invested half of my monthly allowance in school into ponzi schemes and everyrhing got lost , nothing in return!!! I waited still having hope that very soon they would pay but all to no avail. It was painful though, since I already exhausted all the money in my bank account and I had no choice but to starve myself throughout the month. Tough times!

HOW I CAME ABOUT STEEMIT
I have been hearing of some sites where you can work online and earn but most of them wasted my time, like I said; at the end of the day, it wouldn't be possible for one to withdraw or make use of the hard earned money. I was tired of everything!
Let the story begins;
I heard about steemit last year(2017) december when I came back from school for holiday at home.

He said steemit!!! I was like steemit? I started making enquiries about it and he gave some nice answers.
After hearing from him, i went straight to my phone browser and search for steemit from which I learnt it's a social network that gets its members paid from their creativity, intelligence and tenacity. I was like wow! Just like that? So on getting home that same day, I quickly registered for it to be among the lucky people. Fortunately, within a week my account was approved and i started blogging.It was that fateful sunday after sunday school, our sunday school teacher asked a question that apart from all these church activities, what can we as a youth be doing that will give us something in return? Everybody, including me gave some awesome answers, but the one I held on to was that very answer from @ewuoso.

The first week I couldn't make any upvotes on my post, damn!!! This happened through the second week, then I informed @ewuoso that things are not as easy as thought but he made me realized that nothing good comes easy and advised my to continue blogging.

Hmm, I heeded to his advice and continue doing what he asked me to be doing. After the third week things started turning out for good.

MY LIFE AFTER I CAME ABOUT STEEMIT

To be sincere, I never thought of going out with my friends to explore my country, even my state!!! But through steemit it was made possible! With the little time I've spent here on steemit, i can point out that these are the good things I have been able to use the money realized from it for, i'm grateful. In my previous post with the link ;(https://steemit.com/photography/@acheever/all-about-yesterday), I included a note, which reads; "Thanks to steemit for making this possible"

I always have the peace of mind that there is always a place to run to when things are not going well and that is steemit.

I will forever be grateful to @ewuose for making this big opportunity came my way.

A common saying says one person gives birth to a child but other people in the society nurture him along with his/her parents. For this, I am also grateful to @onos @tony-duke @phunke @jerryboy4luv @mizdais @lordrayden @samstickkz @ubongj @tojukaka @ajremy @prechi @amec to mention few for their contribution to my succcess story.
