MY STORY BEFORE I JOINED STEEMIT
Hello steemians,
I am ada blessing, a graduate of library and information science from Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, in Abia State. I graduated in 2016 and since then I have been hustling for one job to another.
I have not gone for service due to some issues my department has and that issue still lingers.
It is really frustrating staying at home without anything to boost of.
My sister @evelyniroh introduced me to steemit but I gave deaf ears to it, I never believed there was a platform or a social media that pays you for making a post so I went seeking for job again.
Finally I got a job at Divine Command Academy Logo 1, Makurdi, Benue State as a class teacher with little pay but to me it was better than staying idle.
After some months, I started encountering serious challenges at my work place. You all know how stressful teaching job is. Imagine after shouting, preparing lesson note, setting exams, marking, recording and computing the results and at the end of the month salary will be delayed. This kept happening for a while and I started have a second thought and that was when it occurred to me that my lovely sister was showing me the right path,.
MY STEEMIT STORY
I finally joined steemit in Steptember 2017. When I joined, it was not too stressful and difficult for me. Do you know why? Because my sister @evelyniroh was always there for me. I made my first post, that was the introduction post and got some cool cash.
I began to meet new friends who motivated and inspired me through there posts, ii began to see myself having interests in writing which seem so difficult for me back then.
At first, I came to steemit for the money but with time I began to fall inlove with. This happened because of these few great minds I met. The likes of @eloquentsam (my first friend on steemit), @amec (I call him my boo), @ewuoso (great mind), @sussan (my girlfriend), @japfive (my padi), @yanga (he made a portrait of me), @camzy (he made another portrait of me), @steveson (my fellow librarian), @samstickkz (a great mind), @Ehiboss (the boss himself), @illuminatus @firstlady (my new girlfriend) and @phunke (a great writer).
WHAT I LEARNT SINCE I JOINED STEEMIT
I have learnt to meet and make new friends and also to interact better with people knowing well that team work matters for the growth of any of this platform.
I have learnt to be self dependent, self confident and financially independent. My wealth improved in the sense that I make double of my so called salary in a month and I know with time I will make more than that in a week.
I have learnt to read virtually everything that comes my way and I see myself making researches to improve my knowledge.
I have learnt to manage my tme well, I spend less to no time on facebook, twitter and other social medias that are irrelevant and now concentrate on steemit.
I’ve learnt to be patient and learn from other people. I also learnt to accept my mistakes and learn from it, I strive not to blam myself for my flaws but I accept it and try not to repeat them.
MY APPRECIATION
I will not end without appreciating @surpassinggoogle for his success here on steemit and has he has been supportive to members of this platform. Despite his busy schedule, he still make out time for us and allow us to benefit greatly from this platform through his numerous contest, i lack what to say but god bless you richly.
I always wish to appreciate @tojukaka for his effort and numerous contributions to steemit. Thank you for the sundayselfi contest, it was fun been a part of it.
I will not forget to mention @infovore, I do not know this individual but he has been supportive, accept my gratitude.

Thanks to your sister as she volunteered to remove something like scales in your eyes, because steemit is a place of fun and enjoyment. That is similar to how I joined steemit..... @idunique knows what I am talking about. Thanks to you lovely sister... @adabless
am grateful to her
I am welcoming you my own way to steemit, "Amedie o" Seriously, steemit has made me to become such a dogged reader too.
Steemit has come not only for people to make money, it also teaches the moral aspect of life and many other things steemit has teaching people including myself. I am happy for you @adabless more SBD to your wallet.
