... to be Christ's witness to the world and spread the Good News of Salvation to all people, nations, and tongues. He commanded us to teach and baptize and make disciples that the world may be saved from eternal damnation and to receive eternal life instead.
The task is not an easy one but Jesus assured us that He will bestow us power through the Holy Spirit to take on the enemy and the challenges ahead of us.
These powers may not come as supernatural ones but skills and abilities to fulfill His mission here on earth. However, in some instances, He might just demonstrate His might and power through us. But we have to be ready to receive the Holy Spirit in any given moment in time and place.
We are witnesses for Jesus in so many ways that we may not even realize it. Let God use you today for His will and purpose.
"But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth."
