When it comes to having a fun environment mine isn't fun and it isn't boring either too. Lots of action around because my house is situated along the road and the cars and all that road turmoil of noise and whatever the road life brings I can all hear it. It is quite disturbing especially if you have a noisy dog neighbor who seems to be eternally barking at nothing. You will just pray like me for the dog to stop and sometimes it gives me the evil thought of really doing something about it.
But when I am in other people's home which is sometimes far from the roadside, obviously it will be more silent and quiet especially at night, then I would notice the big difference in the situation and I would start to miss my place as if something is not quite right. Most possibly because I had been used to this noisy environment that now I could say it is more fun to be in this place because it is near the road and you could experience more people going along around and about and you can hear and talk them sometimes plus the sound of everything gives you a sense of security that you are not alone and there is some always there around.
But not the noisy dog bark. There is something to dog barks which is disturbing and the noise from it isn't really good to the ear. I guess that the noise from a dog is just designed by nature for warning, a reason for its siren-quality of noise. And I am never used to such noise especially if the source is just a feet away then it is a real mental torture. I am just lucky enough to have a distraction of my own and wait for the dog to stop and until then I could really get my peace.

We have a neighbor who got a dog about a year ago. I am an animal lover have 2 cats and 3 dogs myself. My issue with the neighbor is this poor dog lives in a kennel 24/7. As soon as it grows dark the dog starts barking and does not stop till the sun comes up. It is driving me buts and costing me sleep. I keep telling myself soon our house will be done and we are moving...
We had something like that in our neighborhood, the dog owner would put the dog outside around 10:00pm would bark for a few hours, and it would bark around 6am, since my neighbor snapped its been silence.
He pounded on their door at 2am screaming like a mad man to shut the dog up or he was going to kill it with his bare hands and the owner would be next. Well needless to say the neighborhood was filled with cop cars, no one went to jail but the neighborhood has been silent ever since.
I love a happy ending
What is worse is when many dogs are howling at once.
I do not have Noisy Neighbor Dog, because in my village not have every one keep dog.

I could never get mad a the dog, i like them too much. My only issue would be that the dog is well looked after and not just chained up.
The barking i could live with even if i dont like it.
I used to live at a building where there's a beer house on the next establishment. Drunk guys and videoke and even people quarrelling. At first it was a nuisance. then the noise became a lullaby. Lol but now we transferred and it's quit and the neighborhood is great.
So cuet this dog..

We do have one noisy dog, and also a noisy dog from the neighbors side.
They are really terrible and if one barks then the other will follow. Sometimes they will be singing in chorus (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ but for our security and stuff we decided to keep one so I guess that is okay. ┬──┬ ノ( ゜-゜ノ)
