If steemit is having DDOS attacks etc, like is being mentioned; it simply means that "steemit is something". Plus, it isn't ponzi etc; because who spends hours trying to crash a ponzi.
Too, the blockchain is intact and it has timestamps and snapshots. So while it can get scary, let's use that time to carefully explore other outlets and facets of the steem blockchain, for beauty lies therein.
I really dont believe people still think steemit can crash, yes there was an attack if its not important or of great value then why the attacks.... its really sad how people are quick to judge a situation only from its negative side.
It is also a good time to spam Facebook to tell people about Steemit :D I found that out this morning!

As a matter of fact, the DDOS attack aint just DDOS alone. No hacker just attempt to hack a website that have nothing to offer.
