this addiction is permissiveYeah I am that addicted. First thing I think of in the morning is coming on here, sometimes it tries to push my morning prayers out, hell no. I fight it really hard. It's God first! It gives me a lot of joy just to see the steemit logo. I feel good that I became a part of this awesomeness. @Ned should have sent a message across since last year. When I see steemians who came on board since last year I get jealous. Then I tell myself never to worry because next year I will be glad I joined "last year" lol. Good news is that
I was lost
Before I officially became a steemian, I was just there... I knew not where I was. Everything seemed to be fine but I knew something was wrong. I used to be so dumb like Gomorrah not because I was a dummy but because I never had the chance to speak and be listened to. The aloofness got people thinking "I too dey form" Lol. Just a few peeps knew I was fun to be with.
I was lost. I needed to meet my needs as well as that of my family and friends. I am the type of person not to bother anybody when it has to do with personal needs. But there wasn't a clue how to go about making my own dime. Ponzi of all sort wrecked my savings.. Yet I kept reminding myself that the situation was never my final destination.
Now I am found
commercialAfter I finally signed in, I was aware money was everywhere on the streets of steemit. Maybe because of the notion I got when I first heard of here. I came to recover my lost funds Lol.. I realized passion was involved when I saw @sirwinchester's . Passion indeed was needed so I strove. I discovered a lot about passio. I got bored at times but then I rather die of passion, Dear, until you experience passion you can't understand it . I met a lot of awesome people including the very one who inspired this post in the person of @surpassinggoogle. Blockchain to me back then was just about getting a wallet and storing bitcoins. The steem blockchain however has opened my eyes more to realizing it isn't just about us. I have learnt to love everyone I come across. I have learnt about other cryptocurrencies just reading steemit posts. I have realized how far one can make something out of nothing just by being passionate. Above all I have realized the power that lies in giving. @destinysaid taught me self building. I am beginning to stand out. I am now in love with researching and writing unlike back then when it used to be movies upon movies. I am earning just by pouring my honest mind out compared to back then when my btc got stuck on scam sites. I love steemit like I love myself.
I was very talented that I could not even make a proper pen design of my name on the previous untalented contest, now I am so untalented that I designed my profile picture myself.

hahaha i also told myself "why I did not listen to steemit in 2016"
But then i console myself by saying: yes, i am already here and in a year I will continue to congratulate myself for having done so. Because no one takes me off steemit anymore. Sweethearts for you.
