Hello Steemians, today i want to talk about how steemit has helped so many people, thanks to @ned and @dan, it has been a wonderful journey since the inception of steemit. I joined steemit January 2018, i and my freinds have benefitted alot from steemit platform through curations by posting our original contents. Steemit is all about idea, if you don't have the right ideas on what to blog about, you might end up not achieving anything, or if your posts are copyright, then steemit is not the right place for you. There is no easy path to genuine success, you have to keep trying and trying again and again until success achieved.
I know of about 5 of my friends that left steemit platform, not because steemit is not a great platform, but it's because of what steemit is becoming, or rather what people has made steemit to be. my friends were previously earning on steemit at the early 2018 and 2017. But they had to leave because upvotes was no longer free, so they could no longer earn nor get upvoted for the original posts they blog on, some even had to travel to get pictures of a beautiful places, ask questions and get much informations to blog it on steemit, while some go extensive research, gather informations to write about on steemit. But they were not getting much upvotes like they use to despite the reputation they have built on the platform.
Same experience goes to me, people with original content are suffering on steemit, people tend to use upvotes bots for their content to be upvoted by bots, upvotes became a commodity you have to buy. The purpose for steemit is no longer implemented, at it is steemit members that are causing this damage to the platform. This was not the idea that @ned and @dan projected for steemit. Instead what steemit members do is to downvote an original content instead of upvoting it. The members that are not affected by this are the pioneers of steemit whom have been there since it's inception. Those with little reputation and steempower are not heard despite the originality of their content.
Please i urge all steemit members to help steemit grow, it takes you nothing to upvote an original content, if we keep up with greed, at long run it will still affect everyone of us. @dan and @ned made steemit for free, we all did not buy our accounts, it was for free, so why are we not giving that freedom back to other members? Please let's join together and make steemit great again!!! i will not use upvotes bots for my article to be heard, if it's not fine, even if it's one person i can reach out to with this message, then i will be glad that someone has been impacted by this. Thank you.
