After a couple month hiatus from burning cards, I think now is a good time to start throwing more cards into the fire.
I am confident that the recent crypto recovery rally is drawing people back into the crypto communities at record rates. Crypto enthusiasts are starting to smile again - meanwhile, serious investors have taken a foot off the railing and the thoughts of jumping are becoming distant memories...
We can make investment plans again!
Anyways, back to the card burning
I started a simple project of making posts to burn splinterlands cards by using the posting rewards as a funding pool to buy cards from the markets and then burn them.
It's a fairly simple idea.
The higher value the post - the higher value of card we get to burn.
Unfortunately, Nobody seemed interested, and there was no engagement on the posts. It was a failure at the time.
Maybe this time will draw in some interest?
So, lets try again!
Currently - the highest burn value card we did was 0.089$ back on 12/7.

I personally would like to start burning Gold Foil cards.
I am a gold foil collector and trader and would love to watch some of the circulation get burned away.
But that all depends on how this project plays out and if the hive/splinterlands community are interested in this happening.
