The most easy way to bury it would be to not bury it. The more sand they put on top the bigger the hill.
Or hills, since there is a lot more they need to cover with 'dirt'. The more energy they spend on putting 'dirt' on top, the less they do to to really make it go away. Since it will never go away. We all know how that hill came to be. And we will keep explaining this to everyone else.
