Hello to all photography lovers!
As you know, I love photography and contests ^^ Almost every day I propose a speed-game with the application @steepshot and you are every time more to join us =). After the success of the MACRO-PHOTO CONTEST and the SUNSET PHOTO CONTEST, I decided to make a new one:
THE BEST B&W URBAN PHOTOGRAPHY!!!
I love macro photography, but I am also a nature lover but I also like the city, so I wanted to change the theme this time =). No need for specific material for this contest, it is accessible to all because even with a smartphone it is possible to have a beautiful urban photo.
Urban photography can be:
β‘ street art
β‘ people on the street
β‘ urban architecture
β‘ buildings and monuments in the city
β‘ road traffic, street, vehicles
As you may know in my macro contest, there were dishonest participants who used pictures of other people. I do not tolerate this kind of behavior and this platform is about quality and does not accept copying. That's why I had to change the rules and find a way to sort between the real and the falsework. I think I found the solution =). I let you discover the rules of this contest my Steemians friends.

The 8 RULES are simple:
To be considered for the contest,
β Your photography must be made by you and must be accompanied by a proof. It can be:
- A 2nd photography with a paper with "My entry for the B&W URBAN PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST by @flamingirl" IN FRONT OF THE PHOTOGRAPHY. Not only a paper because it does not prove anything. Thank you ^^.

This second photo does not count for the contest but it is the proof that the first one is an original photo. This avoids any attempt at plagiarism that is not tolerated on this platform. =)
β Your photography must be accompanied by an explanation of at least 50 words (in English, French or Spanish)
β Your entry must be published on your personal Steemit account with the title "My entry for the 7 DAYS STEEMIT B&W URBAN PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST by @flamingirl"
β Your photography blog must be posted before 0:00 of the day Time zone in Spain to be valid. After midnight, it will be part of the next selections day. Each user has 1 entry per day that will be valid for the challenge.
β You need to be my follower =)
β You must use the "#urban-photocontest" and "#blackandwhite " tags in your article. So I can find your entry easily otherwise it is lost among all the blogs posted on Steemit.

SELECTION:
β’ With the 2 members of my Jury: @pankajborah and @soorefunmi, we will choose together the 5 best entries of the day and select an absolute winner of each day. I will write a post the next day with the 5 entries selected. I will upvote the winner of the day 100% and he will be automatically selected to participate in the final to win the 30 SBD. I will also upvote the other 4 entries at 25% each with an honorable mention.

Insanely amazing Dubai Marina with all those skyscrapers, steel and glass.. now in B&W vision.
Pretty hard to get full reflection of such tall buildings, but from position got enough wide angle to catch all the view

Some pretty nice urban art at the beach of Tel-Aviv shot few years ago during our trip. Even got pretty cold weather (rare, but happens), but anyhow lots of emotions.
Black and white conversion works pretty nice here due many different colors actually used for this graffiti

Spectacular Great Pyramid of Giza and the view to the modern city further away shot with a long tele-photo lens in order to compress a perspective and combine both in one frame

The problem with not daily or weekly contests in steemit is that you never know when new one starts... moreover if passing few weeks in between. What I do with my NSFW contest is tagging all previous winners, so at least they get mentions popping up :)

Long and narrow streets of Valletta formed by pretty high buildings in order no to let direct sunshine come inside and reduce summer heat. Few centuries of the history is concentrated in only 800 mtrs length of the capital of Malta. Full of churches and statues
