Is this in your backyard?
It is! It probably takes up about 1/4 of the backyard space but will be well worth it in a couple of months.
I have similar fantasy. I want to buy surrounded by farms made by me..
That sounds awesome @kpreddy! I can't wait till you make the fantasy a reality.
Very beautiful :)
Thank you @dasrow! I definitely worked hard on it.
Nice!!! We hope to be moving by this summer, a garden is a must! I had one at my in-laws but it was to hard to maintain. Water melons can be tough to grow, good luck!
I couldn't agree more @rpgbuilders! Having fresh food is the best!

Hope I can have that too someday. Are you gonna do raised beds eventually?
Probably not anytime soon @pattoounlimited. The goals for this year was to just get it started and then finish fencing in the yard to keep critters out. It might be something to add to the future though!
I am on the same trip with my fella ~ what fun eh.
We find planting seedlings more effective than shoving our food in the dirt ~ haha! :)
Happy harvesting.

That's exciting @ldacey-laforge! You should share your journey here on Steepshot!
Some of my stuff is starting as seedlings but most I just went straight in with lol The tomatoes are all in starters but most everything else is coming straight from the dirt.
Sounds awesome, congratulations, what do you plan on planting first?
Thank you @cannaqueen! I have a pretty wide mix. Off the top of my head there is corn, cucumbers, beans, tomatoes, lettuce, watermelon and pumpkins but I still feel like I'm forgetting some.
Thats a good start.. do keep us posted on your garden updates.. will take some tips off you.. good luck & happy farming..
This looks really interesting shot wow so nice :)
Thanks @blazing!
