RE: Selling Dow

in #us7 years ago (edited)

I day trade. I try not to hold on to any set beliefs about which way the market should go.
As far as i am concerned it will go where it wants and never asks for my permission. So with that in mind i try to get into a state of mind that wants what the market wants.

Instead of focusing on which trading system or indicator you should use focus on knowing yourself better. Start by listening to the words you speak when trading is not going your way. If you find yourself angry and frustrated this is more of a problem than the financial loss. It will follow you in every area of your life.
When angry it is equal or more detrimental than being drunk for your state of mind and all good decision making goes out the window. Spend your time and money on learning self control . A life coach or mentor is far more valuable in the long run than systems and indicators. You can not control the market but you can control your temper.
